Tordis/Vigdis Fields

The Tordis/Vigdis fields are located to the south of the Snorre field. These fields were found during exploration activities after the discovery of Snorre. The Tordis fields consist of Tordis, Tordis East and Borg, while the Vigdis fields include Vigdis, Vigdis East, and Borg Northwest.

All fields rely on sub-sea production facilities to produce oil and gas. Even though the reserve of each field is much smaller than Snorre, they make significant contributions in total.

Tordis Fields: recoverable reserves
-Crude oil: 406 million barrels
-Gas: 162 billion cubic feet

Vigdis Fields: recoverable reserves
-Crude oil: 433 million barrels
-Gas: 67 billion cubic feet
